System Access
 CMEX provides services to a number of participants and marketplaces across multiple asset classes. Access to two systems is mandatory for most types of clearing licenses because:
Trade and position management for derivatives, risk management and collateral management including the delivery of respective reports are implemented on the CMEX clearing system, while
Gross delivery management and relevant settlement and risk reports are implemented on the CCP system.
The system matrix gives an overview of which technical connections you need according to the type of clearing business you do.

Vendor Search
A variety of back and middle office vendors (ISVs) provide applications that interface to CMEX Clearing Limited. A search feature helps you locate a list of vendors and their contact details.
For Vendors & In-House Developers
The open interface VALUES API is publicly available for both Members and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to develop applications or offer technical services. All applications that interface via VALUES API to the CMEX Clearing system are required to identify themselves using an application identifier assigned by CMEX Clearing Limited. The application identifier is a sixteen character field that has to be transmitted with every login or subscription request of any application. All Members that use self-developed or third party VALUES API applications are requested to return the Application Identifier Registration Form.

Values API
As part of the package, CMEX provide a Graphical User Interface (GUI) which Members can use to perform clearing operations. They can supplement the GUI or replace it with proprietary and third-party applications. Both the clearing GUI as well as third-party applications are supported in terms of their data content through the functions offered by VALUES API (Virtual Access Link Using Exchange Services Application Programming Interface). VALUES API is a programmable interface, which provides the functionality, and flexibility needed to serve as a standard open interface between front-end applications and back-end Clearing services.
The VALUES API supports asynchronous data transfer between front-end applications and the clearing central system. Synchronous processing may be built on top of the VALUES API, but it is not provided by the VALUES API.
