 On receipt of the Membership Application in the prescribed format (to be downloaded from the website www.mexcambodia.com or obtained directly from Mex Cambodia on any working day) along with the necessary documents and payments, the Exchange will process the application. After scrutinizing the relevant information and documents, on the Exchange finding the Applicant suitable for admission, the Applicant will be called for an interview before the Membership Committee for assessment of the Applicant for suitability as a Member. Two Directors or Sr. Executives of the Applicant who are conversant with formalities need to appear before the Membership Committee.
Depending on the recommendation of the Membership Committee the Applicant may be approved or rejected. If approved, the application will be accepted by Mex Cambodia for grant of admission. The Membership Committee may recommend admission with or without conditions or may defer the admission to a later period.
On approval of membership of Mex Cambodia and where applicable, after the conditions are met by the Applicant, an In-Principle approval/admission will be granted to the Applicant. On receipt of such approval, the applicant shall fulfill formalities like opening of various bank accounts with designated banking partner, acquiring seat at Cambodian Derivatives Clearing House PLC and purchase of software from the designated software vendor. When the applicant reports completion of all formalities, a certificate of membership in Mex Cambodia shall be granted by Board of Directors of Mex Cambodia which enables the new member to start functioning. |
